Little Su 50K

Run in conjunction with it's older brother, the Susitna 100, the Little Su 50k travels the same course but turns to it's own separate course on Flat Horn Lake - see Little Su Course. It finishes where it begins at the Point Mackenzie General Store for a total distance of 50 kilometers (approx. 31.1 miles).

This race offers a distance that will appeal to the sprinters as well as those looking for a day adventure. It will also appeal to those who are here to watch and/or support someone doing the longer 100 mile race.

Little Su 50K racers are not required to attend the Susitna 100 pre-race meeting,
but are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Those Little Su 50K racers who are not able to attend the Thursday meeting

may pick up  bibs and packets on

race morning at the start

 

Required gear: is a light source (headlamp or bike light for example) and a rear flashing light to be used after sunset.
and 2 quarts of water that is insulated (Camelback or insulated Nalgene bottles). 

All entrants receive a shirt with our logo and finishers receive an award.

No wait list is kept.
